Historicsl Background of the International Islamic Institute
In september 2018, the international Islamic Institute Trustee was established by the Board of Directors of Islamic Development Reformation of Africa (IDRA). Its role was to address the Muslim Children educational needs in the Republic of Liberia as their cultural and religious requirements were not being completely met by what was being provided by state and private educational institutions...
The majority of Muslim children attending state and other private schools were not receiving instructions in Islamic morals and its religious matters. Education has always been linked with Islam and human development. Realizing the significance of this, the trustees felt that the only way to resolve the issues created by this dilemma of addressing the educational needs of Muslim children was to establish model Islamic schools that would provide the education Muslim children need. This would provide children with an environment in which they could develop their Islamic personality a long side their academic performance.
International Islamic Institute (III) provides full-time education for boys and girls between the ages of 3 to 16years. It aims to equip the pupils to acquire characteristics such as:
