Investing In A Student Furture At the International Islamic Insitute

At the largest scale, the International Islamic Institute offers tuition and financial assistance to qualified students from Nursery to 9th grade to unravel opportunities to grow and thrive as they prepare to meet the challenges of the collegiate world and beyond.

Scholarship And Financial Aid Requirements:

The selection criteria for students benefiting from III scholarships and financial aid awards are set by the Board of Trustees in consultation with the school administration. In the event, the Board becomes the only committee to made scholarship or financial aid decision, the primary award criteria would be:

Cartegory of Scholarship:

Fully Funded Scholarship
  • Circumstances and resulting needs of students (e.g Orphans and financially disadvantaged children)

    • Financial Aid
  • Academic performance ( e.g grades or test scores and rank in class)
  • Involvement in Community services or extra-curricular activities such as sports
  • Scholarship or financial aid recipient parent contribution towards III developmental activities (i.e family attribute)
  • Personal attributes of the student (student’s morale and his/her consciousness of Allah)
  • Participation in specific activities to be determined
  • Work history

    • Award Duration

    A fully funded scholarship is meant to enable the student pursue his or her studies until he/she completes said studies at the International Islamic Institute, whereas financial aid award is offered for a specific period of time (a semester/ year/ level).

    Note: All scholarships and finanncial aids are renewable based on the student academy performance.

    Application Procedures

    A student maybe recommended for award by a member of the school board, administration or a teacher based on any of the criteria listed above. When a child has been identified, he or she completes an application form for submission to the Board of Trustees for scrutiny and subsequent award or rejection. The scrutiny shall include interview of the concerned student, his/her parents/guardians and other assessments that maybe carried out.
